Step 3- Analyzing Habits

Step 3: Analyzing Habits

“The discontinuance of a habit leaves a hole in the mind, and this hole must be filled with some other form of habit or the old one will return and claim its place”
~ Napoleon Hill

Analyzing Habits is the third step in the Janie's 6 Step Plan for Getting Out of Debt. This is where you determine what your good and bad habits are in your life.

I have been reading a book by Napoleon Hill and he talks about discontinuing bad habits by replacing them with good habits. For instance, the spending habit must be replaced by the saving habit. Or the buying on credit habit should be replaced by buying with cash.

"Any habit may be discontinued by building in its place some other and more desirable habit." ~Napolean Hill

1. Do you write down all of your expenses?

Janie's Answer

2. What are you bad habits?

3. What are your good habits?

4. What habits would you like to change?

5. What habits are costing you a lot of money?

P.S. This list will continue to grow because of the evolving nature of this process and the Janie Out of Debt Blog.

You are doing a great job!

Best wishes,

Janie
